The class is done in a virtual class room with multiple participants. We meet on Sundays at 11:45am US eastern, or 6:45pm Israel time. November 10, 2021 at 10:41 pmFascinating bit about ancestral worship evolving into the many gods of other cultures. I never considered this but it makes sense as to possibly why so many different historical groups have very similar gods.

Benei haelohim can be translated as “sons of the gods” or those who followed other gods rather than The Almighty. I find it interesting that they married the daughters of “ha’adam” or daughters of Adam who were righteous. These wicked men saw Adams daughters were beautiful in appearance and character.
Nephil has the root meaning of a brutish, “lumberjack” type person. It comes from them “felling” trees.
