In this class, I discuss the Biblical description of Giants and what is true and untrue about these descriptions. The class was given before my bible group and goes in-depth into Biblical literature.

Fascinating bit about ancestral worship evolving into the many gods of other cultures. I never considered this but it makes sense as to possibly why so many different historical groups have very similar gods.

I understand the Nephilim to be totally human, not angelic/human hybrids. Benei haelohim can be translated as “sons of the gods” or those who followed other gods rather than The Almighty. I find it interesting that they married the daughters of “ha’adam” or daughters of Adam who were righteous. These wicked men saw Adams daughters were beautiful in appearance and character.

Nephil has the root meaning of a brutish, “lumberjack” type person. It comes from them “felling” trees.
