“Holy, holy, holy, is YHWH of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!”
Reminiscent of the revelation of YHWH at Mt. Sinai is Isaiah’s vision of YHWH in His throne room. Haftarah Yitro depicts this vision and ominous prophecy that is given.

January 30, 2019 at 3:02 pmGreat thanks, good reception, new microphone is great, although other than some interruptions with your kids (which I love, BTW). It was about the same.
Thank you

February 14, 2025 at 6:50 amYoel,
A couple things:
You say no one has seen יְהוָה. Yet, what does B’resheet 18 say?
I understand what you have said about those with agendas, though, your explanations of Yesha’yahu 6 (specifically the fact that it says אֲדֹנָי and not יְהוָה) and 9 all point to יְשׁוּעָה (Yeshua). What would you say about this?

March 2, 2025 at 12:08 amThe question of seeing YHWH is a complicated one. In Gen 18 if taken to mean that YHWH himself appears to Abraham, there is grounds to argue that Abraham did see YHWH. On the other hand we find Exo 33:20 which states that no one can see YHWH and live. This does not deny the possibility of seeing YHWH, but then Abraham should have not lived. This leaves us with the option that Gen 18 was not YHWH but an angle (maybe…). The argument regarding ישעיהו speaking of ישוע is christological and does not fit the plain meaning of the text. Trying to place ישוע in random places is very suspect and makes no textual sense.
