Thank you for the teachings. They are a part of our weekly Shabbat. I had a question about the offerings. Were all of the offerings consumed by fire from above during a certain period and then stopped after the first temple? Will this be a sign in the time to come that will be a confirmation that YHWH is reestablishing the kingdom. Thank you and shalom. Tim

August 14, 2019 at 9:04 amThank you for the feedback and your kind words. I would say that based on how the Torah and 1KIngs describe it there was a fire from heaven for some time. However, this heavenly fire is not talked about again which might mean it stopped at some point. I know that Jewish sources talk about the heavenly fire during the 1st temple and that it did not exist during the 2nd.
