Yoel explains the three Hebrew words for leaven used in Exodus 12:15 in this fun and informative debut broadcast with Jono Vandor at Truth2U.org.
“Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; howbeit the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses; for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.“
- What are we supposed to remove from our houses?
- Are fermentation and leaven the same thing?
- What about Beer and Wine?
- Baking Soda and Baking Powder?
- Vegemite and Marmite?
- How about Pasta?
- How do we get rid of our se’or? Burn it? Sell it?

March 25, 2018 at 7:45 pmThank you for all the details Yoel, I decided a long time ago that wine couldn’t be leavened, wine is poured over the offerings daily, on Passover and through FOUB. No honey or anything leavened may be offered up in fire to God.
