We have all suffered loss in our lives.  Where was God when it happened?  In this week’s haftarah, Isaiah sends a message to those who suffered in his day that is just as applicable to those of us who suffer today:  A message of hope and that there is someone in control.

Hello Yoel after listening to the Torah Pearls & yours today both of you mentioned the 7 comfort ( sections) I can’t remember exactly what you & he called it but what I would like to know is exactly what portions of the scripture they are.

    I have been covering the different readings in the past couple of weeks on my own Haftarah series. The readings are:
    Isaiah 40:1-27, 49:14-51:3, 54:11-55:5, 51:12-52:12, 54:1-10, 60:1-22, 61:1-63:9
